While the world was being graced with the incredible Drag Race Thailand season finale, were we also getting a first glimpse into the new Drag Race UK series? Nancy Drews think so.
Drag Race Thailand closed its second season with the first trans woman to ever take the franchise title. During the jaw-dropping finale, Mama Ru made an appearance herself, setting the tongues of internet sleuths wagging and creating the rumour that we just got our first sneak peek into Drag Race UK.
The Emmy Award winning host appeared via video and greeted the top 3 from a suspiciously British-looking set.
“Greetings Thailand,” the host said. “Mama Ru loves you and misses you. Angele Anang, Kandy Zyanide, Kana Warrior, no matter what happens next, you are and will always be Drag Race royalty. You have made Mama Ru so very proud. The time has come to crown our queen, and may the best woman win!”
Take a look at the pictures below and let us know what you think. Could this be the Drag Race UK set, rumoured to make an appearance later this year? We certainly think it could be…

It certainly looked like audiences are suspicious and GOOPED at the idea that Mama Ru is teasing us with all the drag to come.
Drag Race UK is said to air later this year and will be hosted by RuPaul and Michelle Visage, as well as new judges Alan Carr and Graham Norton.
Norton expressed his excitement over this opportunity in a recent video.
“Becoming part of the Drag Race family makes me so ridiculously happy!” he said. “I can’t wait to see what the UK drag queens bring to the party, but they better weeeeeerk!”
Carr also expressed his excitement at becoming a judge on the soon-to-be hit TV series.
“Wow! To be sat next to Michelle Visage and Mama Ru as a guest judge on possible one of my all-time favorite shows EVER is a dream come true. I can’t wait to see what the UK queens have got in store — it’s going to be sickening.”
